Best of the West 2025

At the Best of the West Tournament hosted by Regency Baptist Church, many of our students were able to attend and serve in various areas throughout the event. We were also encouraged to see many GSBC alumni actively involved in coaching teams, serving in their ministries, and more. We are grateful to have been a part of this great event!

Round Up Sunday

Our students put their hands to the plow for NVBC’s Western Round-Up Sunday! They served faithfully in every area, and the countless hours they spent inviting people to this event bore fruit. The C Ministry saw many souls brought to church, saved, and baptized, with each route reaching its highest attendance of the year. We praise God for using our students for His glory!

Hot Cocoa and Donuts

Midterms are over! To celebrate the end of exams, students gathered for hot cocoa and donuts during the football game. It was the perfect way to relax, recharge, and cheer for their team while enjoying some sweet treats.

Weekend Ministries and Intramural Football

What an action-packed weekend! Saturday began with soul winning, then the Battle of the Buses and a thrilling flag football game under the lights. On Sunday, we had our first Night Bus of the semester! The bus teen stayed on the church property after the morning service, enjoying fun activities hosted by bus workers before heading together to the evening service at North Valley Baptist Church. We praise God for another exciting and fruitful weekend at GSBC!

With the start of school last week, we jumped into a full schedule of orientations, activities, and various ministry opportunities. The week was filled with excitement as students trained and prepared for a great semester ahead.

2025 Commencement Exercises

The 28th Annual Commencement Exercises at GSBC were an unforgettable celebration. Family, friends, and loved ones gathered to honor the dedication, hard work, and achievement of the Class of 2025. Dr. Jack Trieber preached a powerful message, "Keep The Race Before Us", challenging the graduates to keep running in the race no matter the difficulties. We look forward to how God will use this group of young people to impact the world for His glory.

GSBC Alumni Banquet

The GSBC Alumni Banquet was such an encouraging time of fellowship with our wonderful alumni! Graduates of Golden State Baptist College had the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and teachers, enjoy a delicious meal, and honor our beloved Alumni Director, Mrs. Flint. As our alumni head back home across the country, we look forward with excitement to the next time we can see our alumni family again.

This year, we hosted our first 'C' Ministry Dinner, and it was an incredible experience. Our students received valuable ministry training and instruction that will help them in the ministries they’ll be involved with throughout the school year.
